Dr. Jee-Hong (Peter) Kim is a fellowship-trained specialist in Rhinology, Complex Sinus/Skull Base Surgery, and Sleep Apnea Surgery, proudly serving the Bay Area community at the California Sinus Center. With a remarkable educational background and extensive experience, Dr. Kim is dedicated to restoring his patients’ ability to breathe freely and sleep soundly through compassionate, individualized care. After welcoming his second child, he returned to the Bay Area to be near family—continuing his mission to help patients live healthier, more restful lives.

Dr. Kim specializes in a wide range of conditions, including:

Dr. Kim is widely respected in the medical community, having presented research at national and international conferences, authored and reviewed more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and lectured at Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses on sinonasal and sleep-related disorders.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kim is a devoted husband and father who enjoys traveling, soccer, cooking, and spending time with his wife and two children. His dedication to family mirrors his commitment to his patients—delivering compassionate, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research grant and completed the Clinical Scientist Training Program. He completed his residency at the University of Southern California (USC) and an advanced fellowship in Rhinology and Complex Sinus/Skull Base Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University.

Previously, Dr. Kim served as an assistant professor and associate residency program director at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery. In Southern Nevada, he was the only fellowship-trained rhinologist, managing complex sinus, skull base, and sleep-related airway disorders with advanced, minimally invasive techniques.
