Julia DeRenzi

Julia DeRenzi, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience in gastroenterology and urgent care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UC Santa Barbara, Julia went on to complete dual master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health at Touro University in Vallejo, California.

Since graduating in 2008, Julia has served patients in a local gastroenterology practice and emergency medicine, giving her a strong foundation in both preventive and acute care. Today, she is proud to serve her community through Blackhawk Medical Group, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered urgent care and gastroenterology services for families.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Julia enjoys teaching spin classes, running, and spending time with her family, balancing her professional commitment to patient wellness with an active, healthy lifestyle.
