Omar Alshuwaykh

Dr. Omar Alshuwaykh is a highly skilled, board-certified gastroenterologist with extensive expertise in gastroenterology and hepatology. His dedication to advancing the field is reflected in numerous publications and research contributions that have significantly influenced clinical practice.

Dr. Alshuwaykh began his medical journey at the University of Baghdad School of Medicine and earned his MD degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University, followed by a Hepatology Fellowship at Stanford University and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Additionally, he holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
