You may be referred to our Infusion Center if:

• Oral medications are ineffective or inappropriate
• You require long-term IV antibiotics after hospitalization
• You’ve been diagnosed with iron deficiency that doesn’t improve with supplements
• Your specialist prescribed biologic or monoclonal therapies for autoimmune disease or cancer
• You need hydration or medication support due to chronic illness

Q1: What is outpatient infusion therapy?
A1: It’s a way to receive IV medications, fluids, or nutrients outside of a hospital setting. Infusion therapy is often prescribed when oral medications aren’t effective or fast-acting enough.

Q2: How long does a typical infusion session take?
A2: Infusion times vary depending on the treatment. Some infusions take as little as 30 minutes, while others may last several hours. Our team will let you know what to expect before your visit.

Q3: Will my insurance cover infusion services?
A3: Most infusion therapies are covered by insurance when medically necessary. Our staff will help verify coverage and obtain any prior authorizations needed.
